Have you ever taken a college course for your career? If you have an associates, bachelors, or higher you've taken at least 20-40 classes to become successful. How many classes have you taken for your marriage to become successful? If you're like 99% of couples, you've never taken a marriage course. No wonder marriage can be so challenging, you haven't been trained. Imagine going to your job today without any training for it. It would be a disaster!

What is a marriage class?

A marriage class is designed for couples who want to learn how to develop a successful marriage. Typical skills learned include how to share power, how to cultivate emotional intimacy, how to resolve conflicts, and how to nurture sexual intimacy.

Welcome to our TMR marriage course. TMR stands for "Total Marriage Refresh" because the class is the same content that's covered in our one day marriage retreat.

4 Reasons To Take A Marriage Course

1-The first reason is to gain tools. Tools are needed to build, maintain and repair your relationship.

2-The second reason is to gain support. It's easy to become isolated in our marriage experience. We all need guidance to not feel alone in that journey.

3-The third reason is to receive hope. When marriage gets difficult, hopelessness sets in. Gaining tools and support will provided hope for your future together.

4-The fourth reason is to decrease conflicts. Conflicts are often the result of not approaching marriage correctly. Therefore, the more you learn how to do marriage well the less conflicts you'll have.

Who is the marriage class for?

The marriage course is for couples who are either engaged and want to develop a successful relationship or couples who have been married for awhile and need help with their vicious cycles and resentments.

If your relationship has experienced infidelity, start with our affair recovery program first.

What will I learn in the marriage class?

1-Establishing a Covenant Foundation:
There are two ways to approach a marriage. First, like a contract where you're committed as long as your needs are met. Second, like a long-term commitment knowing there will be seasons of summer and winter. The long-term, covenant approach creates stronger safety, which leads to deeper emotional and physical intimacy.
2-Owning Your Brokenness:
Do you notice flaws in your partner more than you notice your own? You're not alone, most of us do. This step reverses that trend and helps you identify your shortcomings and how you're contributing to the issues in your relationship. Doing so creates a sense of humility and equality in the relationship.
3-Learning to Share Power:
Do you and your partner both have an equal voice in your relationship? Are you both open to one another's influence? Do you consult on all decisions impacting your marriage? If you do, then you're doing an excellent job sharing power and you're rare. Most couples struggle doing this and this step will show you how.
4-Developing Emotional Attachment:
The goal of any good marriage is a good friendship. However, cultivating a solid friendship requires intentionally cultivating emotional intimacy, spending quality time together, working through resentments, and having constructive conflict resolution skills. This step is loaded with tools to set you up for success.
5-Cultivating Sexual Fireworks:
Sex should be the best in marriage! However, it's often wrought with difficulty because of differences in libido, lack of emotional connection, and unhealed sexual trauma. This step will help you navigate the tricky path to sexual fulfillment in your marriage in a way that is mutually enjoyable for both of you.
6-Staying in Love:
We fall in love hoping to always stay in love. However, most couples fall out of love and don't know what to do about it. This step will uncover the secrets to falling back in love and staying in love. After all, no one signs up for marriage hoping to be unhappy one day. We all want to be happy and learning how to stay in love is critical for that.
