The Couples Retreat in Tennessee Covers

1-Establishing a Covenant Foundation

Viewing your marriage as a long term covenant has several benefits. First, it will help you try harder during tough times rather than give up. Second, it breeds security in the relationship, which leads to greater emotional and physical intimacy.

2-Owning Your Brokenness

Whether you want to admit it or not, you're not perfect. You have shortcomings you brought into the marriage and so does your partner. Both areas of brokenness create vicious cycles. Therefore, identifying, owning, and working on them is critical.

3-Learning to Share Power

Healthy marriages are made up of two partners who have learned to share power and compromise on all decisions impacting their relationship. Some couples get there quickly but most need some extra help along the way.

4-Developing Emotional Attachment

Marriage should be a refuge from stress in the world but instead it often becomes another source of stress. Learning to work through resentments and foster emotional safety is vital for couples to feel close and connected.

5-Cultivating Sexual Fireworks

Unfortunately, obligation sex becomes the norm in many marriages. How unromantic! Couples must learn how to bring back connection, voice, and engagement to the bedroom. This step will provide concrete steps to help get you there.

6-Staying in Love

Learning to keep your partner's love bucket full by doing what makes them feel loved and satisfied while reducing your behaviors that makes them feel negative toward you is key to being irresistible.
